How Long Does It Take for CamoToe to Show Results?
Two Types of Results
CamoToe delivers two kinds of results on two different timelines:
Immediate: Concealment
The matte finish conceals nail discoloration as soon as you apply it. This is the "instant" result — your nail looks normal within 30 seconds of application. This works from day one, every day.
Gradual: Treatment
The antifungal component (Tolnaftate 1%) works over time. Toenail fungus doesn't disappear overnight — here's a realistic timeline:
- Weeks 1-4: Antifungal begins suppressing fungal growth. No visible change to the nail yet (the discolored portion needs to grow out).
- Weeks 4-8: New nail growth at the base may start appearing clearer. The concealer continues masking the discolored portion.
- Months 3-6: Significant clear nail growth visible from the cuticle. The old, discolored nail is growing out toward the tip.
- Months 6-12: Full nail replacement. Toenails grow slowly — about 1mm per month. Complete replacement of a big toenail takes 12-18 months.
Why Consistency Matters
The daily application cycle is what makes CamoToe effective as a treatment. Tolnaftate needs consistent contact with the nail to maintain antifungal pressure. Skip a week and the fungus starts recovering.
Think of it like brushing your teeth: one session doesn't solve everything, but the daily habit keeps problems from getting worse.
Important Notice: CamoToe is a cosmetic nail concealer — it is not a prescription medication. Individual results may vary. If your condition persists beyond 4 weeks of use, discontinue and consult a healthcare provider. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
